is one of the Islands of Tahiti and along with French Polynesia is a collection of 118 islands and atolls.  These tiny islands, many of which remain uninhabited, make up a total landmass of only 1,600 square miles (4,100 sq. km).  Bora Bora is the most well known of the islands and the birthplace to the popular overwater bungalow.  This is a favourite destination for honeymooners due to its beauty and exclusiveness.  Hotel space on the Islands of Tahiti is limited.  Book way in advance to avoid disappointment.  This is absolute paradise!
